The Library of Change is now live!
Collaborator Line Langebek and I are delighted to launch a new initiative that's been brewing for some time now: Library of Change. It's an evolving collection of cultural works that have inspired positive change, shared by activists, artists and people from different walks of life. A library where you put in as much as you get out.
We started it because we want the role of art and culture in making sense of existential change, and in inspiring and initiating new ways of thinking, being and doing to be more visible in the social, environmental and political movements that are seeking to make the world a better place. We also yearned for a space in which we could connect with other social, environmental and cultural activists and change makers in ways that would enrich our thinking, but also feed our souls, and build supportive relationships beyond our immediate networks, across disciplines, to sustain the passion, commitment and confidence required to keep up the good work.
Library of Change is a platform for sharing insights into the role of culture in our lives via articles, a poetic "dictionary" of the words that bring meaning to our experience, podcasts and events. Through these pathways, we hope to build intimacy, connection and courage to grow ourselves and advocate for the issues most dear to us with ever more impact.
If you'd like to contribute to the Library, we'd love to hear from you.
